Register with Us in MyMedicare
We are excited to announce that we are now offering My Medicare, a new way to connect with your GP and other Healthcare Providers. My Medicare is a Commonwealth Government Program that allows you to register as a Patient of Health Zone Barwell Medical Centre and communicate this to Hospitals, Specialists and other Health Care Providers.
The program aims to improve:
- Access to health care, so that you are able to access us where and when you need us
- Continuity of care, so that, wherever possible, you are able receive care from your usual practice and preferred GP
- Sharing of your health information across the health system, so that your broader health care team has the information needed to provide health care that is cognisant of your needs, preferences and medical history
- Access to additional benefits, such as MBS rebates for long phone and video consultations
