Our Fees
Health Zone Barwell Medical Centre is a mixed billing practice. We understand that high quality healthcare should be accessible and affordable, and accordingly have created a model where:
- Children under the age of 16 will be bulk billed
- Patients who are pension card / DVA card holders, concession card holders will be bulk billed
- Other patients need to pay a nominal out-of-pocket fee of *$25.80 for a standard consultation
The doctors would like to emphasis that this decision has not been taken lightly. Unfortunately, Medicare payments have fallen greatly behind inflation and do not allow us to cover the hugely increasing costs of maintaining our services for you.
* Please note for standard consultation with Dr. Komal Naqvi will incur an out of pocket cost of $35 , only children aged 15 and under are bulk billed.
